Aeronautical engineer, licensed Fighter pilot at the age of 25, Virginie Guyot was the first woman assigned to the Mirage F1CR, a single-seat tactical reconnaissance and fire support combat aircraft. Patrol leader, squadron commander and ex-lieutenant-colonel of the French Air Force, she totaled more than 2,300 flight hours and 76 war missions.

In 2008, she was chosen by her peers to join the ranks of the Patrouille de France and became the first woman to join this prestigious unit. A year later, she took command and thus became the first woman in the world, and still the only one to this day, to have led a national acrobatic patrol. It is for this reason that she was elected "femme en or 2010" in the "Woman of Achievement" category.

After 18 years in the service of her country, during which she was promoted Knight of the Legion of Honor, Knight of the National Order of Merit, decorated with the Cross of Military Valor, the Title of Recognition of the Nation , the aeronautics medal and the national defense gold medal, this accomplished woman, married and mother of 3 children, decides in the summer of 2015 to fly to new horizons.
