INTERNATIONAL SPEAKER

“There will always be room and time to be passionate about a new subject! "
Visionary, transgender and passionate businesswoman, Béatrice is a go-getter and known for never giving up. “Father'' of two boys, she is involved in the LGBTQ + community to help the cause of trans people.
A graduate in radio / television animation from the CRTQ college in Quebec, Béatrice has always been comfortable with a microphone in her hand. After several experiences in sales, she joined the family business Biocad - dental technologies - as Sales & Marketing Director. Béatrice's involvement ensures that the company grows to arouse the interest of the greatest, then to be acquired in 2009. This experience allows her to have her expertise recognized throughout the world, where she gives conferences in more than 20 countries on CAD / CAM technologies.
In 2012 Béatrice co-founded Panthera Dental with her brother Gabriel, who is also VP Marketing & Customer Experience, which allows the company to position itself again among the most renowned. Today Panthera generates sales in more than 30 countries around the world.
In addition to her professional background, Béatrice is an exceptional businesswoman also because of her personal background, since she faces the reality of being a transgender woman every day, a very stigmatized visible minority.
In 2015, she decided to make her transition in order to not only feel well in her career, but also in her skin. She is proud to be a unique “dad” in the world and to pass on her values of inclusion and tolerance to her two teenagers, but also within her own company. She's involved with many causes on several levels- with Mouvement Ensemble inc. - among others.

DIVERSITY: HOW MUCH DOES IT COSTS, WHAT'S THE WIN?
The announcement is made. The pandemic is well established, Panthera Dental must close its doors and more than 40 employees will be temporarily unemployed with no view of the future.
At this point, Béatrice asks herself a question: why not use the technologies of this leader in CAD/CAM implant solutions and dental devices to manufacture protective visors? Which were critically lacking in the market at that time.
To set this "innovation move" in motion, a meeting is organized with employees. Employees from diverse cultural backgrounds, a key value for the Quebec-based company. A plan, a project, and an initial design are conceived.
The rest of the story speaks for itself. 250,000 visors later, none of the organization's talents were laid off. The ideas that emerged from this brainstorming session allowed Panthera Dental not only to survive the lockdown, but also to help Quebec hospitals heavily impacted during the crisis.
At Panthera, the culture of diversity has always allowed the organization to bring different viewpoints and perspectives, driving innovation. In this conference, you will discover how the company uses its strength in terms of inclusion - 40% of employees come from diverse backgrounds - to innovate and become a recognized leader in more than 30 countries worldwide.
