INTERNATIONAL DAY OF WOMEN IN ENGINEERING
Since 2017, June 23rd has been International Women in Engineering Day. It is an opportunity to highlight the inspiring journeys of women who have chosen to pursue a career in engineering, while raising awareness about the importance of diversity and encouraging young girls to explore this exciting and innovative field.

Every June 15th, communities around the world observe World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. It raises awareness of this issue and encourages positive, respectful behavior. It is also an opportunity for businesses and organizations to celebrate their elders and value the sharing of knowledge in the workplace.

QUEBEC WEEK FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
This week highlights the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and reminds us that everyone can take simple actions to improve their social participation. It also encourages the adoption of inclusive measures in all aspects of daily life, both personal and professional.

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
This day was proclaimed by the United Nations Environment Programme. It has been celebrated for many years and regularly raises essential questions about environmental protection and its impact on the quality of life of populations and the survival of our planet.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF MICRO, SMALL, AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES
On June 27th, Québec celebrates micro, small, and medium-sized businesses to express gratitude for the immense contribution of entrepreneurs leading these organizations. Small businesses drive the economy in all regions, with 53% of businesses employing fewer than 5 people and 86% employing fewer than 20.

The primary responsibility of parents has always been to care for their children, protect them, and ensure their harmonious development. While many working parents experience a constant "double shift," equip them to be happy both at work and outside with their families!

SUSTAINABLE GASTRONOMY DAY
Did you know that, according to the UN, more than a third of global food production is wasted? While millions of people suffer from malnutrition and natural resources are exploited, this system is not sustainable. The UN has declared June 18th as World Sustainable Gastronomy Day to raise awareness about these issues.

PRIDE MONTH
The summer period allows 2S/LGBTQIA+ communities to come together and remind us that their struggles are many, their realities often unknown, and their needs diverse, particularly in areas such as health, equality in the professional sphere, and access to their fundamental rights, both in Quebec, Canada, and internationally.
